Decorating Ideas for My Tiny Sleeping Quarters

Hey Lovelies,

I’m back to share some of the items, I sourced for my “sleeping quarters” transformation. Last week, I shared my ideas and to-do list for the space. This week it’s all about narrowing down the choices. I’ve whittled down the bedding choices to four, but that’s way too many.

All the bedding was sourced from Amazon. Because the weather was either too hot or rainy, to go shopping. So, online shopping it was. It was painless, and I didn’t have to leave my tiny apartment. I should do online shopping more often, but I like the thrill of the hunt and interacting with people.

Lovelies, please leave your favorite bedding choice in the comment section. I would love to hear your thoughts on what you chose. Thank you, I love you, keep reading.

Also, there are links to all the bedding, just in case you are interested. this is not a sponsored post.

Bedding Selections:

I knew I wanted a deep rich shade of green for the bedding. So, that’s where I started my search. I also wanted the bedding to be casual and elegant.

I like the look of the above bedding. And the raised print gets a thumbs up. I figure, with the right decorative pillows, and throw this set will work. Let’s keep looking!

What do you think about this set? It’s not deep green, but I like this one a lot. It’s understated with a touch of elegance. And it looks so inviting. It’s simple and pretty. I think the velvet fabric elevates the look.

I love this shade of green. It’s deep, rich, moody, and elegant. The honeycomb motif adds a timeless sophistication to this ensemble. The bedding makes quite the statement without adding any extras, like decorative pillows or a throw.

Lovelies do you see a recurring theme here? All the bedding except for the first picture is velvet. Hmm, I think I’m on to something! I like it, I like it, I like it!

This set looks like picture number two. I think the only difference is the color.

Fabric For Stools:

Once I finished combing the web, I sorted through all the fabrics from last week’s post. I narrowed down the choices, and these two were the final picks.

I love the boldness of the Ikat print. I believe it will look amazing with comforter number two. Also, the white background will balance out some of the deeper hues, in the space.

This tropical fabric makes a bold statement and the black background makes the print pop! The fabric will work well with any of the bedding.

Also, it will add life, and a bit of the unexpected to the small area.

Paint Colors:

Lastly, I spotted two paint swatches that will work great on the four-poster bed. I’m considering (Green Sleeves on the left & Cherry Wine on the right.)

My thoughts

I’ve decided on a duvet, so I don’t have to store my current comforter. Y’all know I’m short on space. I will use chalk paint for the bed. Because I only have one window in the apartment and it can’t be opened.

Hopefully, I can find a hue, that works with my color choices. Also, I’m loving me some velvet, right about now. Who knew?

Okay Lovelies, that’s it for this post. Don’t forget to leave your favorite picks in the comment section. Until next time…
