Hello Beautiful People,
Fall is definitely in the air in Florida. We are experiencing cooler mornings and cooler temperatures throughout the day. I’m enjoying sitting out on my patio taking in the sights, sounds, and embracing the new season that is upon us.
How many of you have finished decorating for Fall? And all the overachievers said, “Yes.” However, If you haven’t started don’t fret. You still have time. Hopefully, today’s post will inspire you to get the ball rolling. But before we get into the post, I have a back story.
BACK STORY
Last year, I promised Reginald I would create a custom Fall wreath for him. Well, several weeks ago Reginald reminded me word for word of the promise I made to him. “Me and my BIG mouth.” So, instead of trying to weasel my way out of it, I replied sheepishly, did I say that? You already know his response. YES, YES, YES!
After I regained my composure and admitted that’s what I’d said, we headed out to get supplies.

Our first stop was Walmart. I was thrilled to see a wonderful selection of fall flowers and accessories. Did I mention the affordable prices? The only items purchased to construct the wreath were two floral bushes, three velvet pumpkins/two yellow pumpkins. We didn’t have to purchase a wreath, we recycled an old one. The total cost to construct the wreath was only $17.

To create this look I cut the stems from the floral bushes and placed them around the wreath. Then, I added the pumpkins and secured them with floral wire. Afterward, I used the remaining foliage to fill in any gaps, in the arrangement.

Reginald was so thrilled with his new wreath. So much so, that he started showing it off like a grandparent with a new grandbaby. Lol!

His coworker Tecyra loved the wreath so much, she asked if I could create one for her too. How could I say no!
WREATH #2

So, I headed to Walmart again. There I purchased a grapevine wreath, fall pics, and pumpkins.

A week later Reginald delivered the wreath and his coworker was ecstatic.

Can you believe, he asked Tecyra if she would consider trading her wreath for his? Where is that wide-eyed emoji when you need it!

I’m delighted that Reginald and his coworker love their wreaths. I enjoyed creating them. The iPhone pictures remind me of an impressionist painting.

Lovelies, that’s it for now!
Join me next week for a use-what-you-have Fall table setting.
Happy Fall!
